In addition to upholstery classes, I recently added some Saturday pillow workshops for crafty ladies who want to design and sew their own, professional looking throw pillows. These weren’t your run of the mill, machine closed pillows. They learned how to cut, make cording, add cording if they chose and install a zipper in the bottom seam. Aside from my Mr. delivering fresh baked banana bread with whipped butter, they worked the entire two hours to finish their pillows. They not only left with a down filled 18″ custom pillow, they are now equipped to create these whenever they need to.
