I’ve had a little obsession with making burlap bags into something wonderful. When my sewing protege came to class carrying a big burlap bag full of burlap bags, I was giddy. Our challenge was to convert burlap coffee bean bags into saleable shoulder bags for a coffee shop. How juicy! Using Greg’s own Crescent Bag design, he cleverly laid out the pattern and got to work. We decided on light blue and white polka dot for the lining. This is the prototype and still needs tweaking, but it’s a good start for an original design.
