Cube Ottoman: Pattern, Mockup and First Cut Jitters

I’ve already been paid to make a cute little bean bag cube for an etsy customer. The photo here is what she wants, but with cute fabric. I drafted the pattern, made the mock-up, but am feeling hesitant to cut into her fabric. I always get this fear right before chopping into someone else’s expensive material. How many times do I have to prove that it will work before I believe it? Jeesh! It happens so routinely, I’m no stranger to first cut anxieties.
