Repurposed Cheese Board Becomes a Modern Address Plaque

Old cheeseboards lend themselves to soooo many DIY projects. This time, I turned a long oval cheese board into a sleek, modern address plaque for the outside of my studio. I had to alter a “B” into a “D” for my studio indicator. With many coats of Spar Varnish, it should last the test of time, at least for a few years.

While sanding the cheese board, I had no idea what troubles were in store.
